Map

A map is a drawing or representation of the whole Earth or a part of the Earth’s surface on a flat surface. Maps use symbols, colours, lines, and labels to show features such as countries, cities, rivers, mountains, roads, and boundaries. Maps can show large areas, such as continents and countries, or smaller areas, such as cities and villages.

Globe

A globe is a three-dimensional, spherical model of the Earth. It represents the Earth in a shape similar to its actual shape and shows continents, oceans, countries, and important imaginary lines such as the Equator and Prime Meridian. A globe gives a more accurate representation of the Earth’s shape and relative location of places than a flat map.
